Paul lives on Coniscliffe Road and is the MP for Sedgefield and as such, he represents the rural wards of Darlington.
Paul was a principal campaigner in the successful efforts to keep the library in Crown Street.
He is an Accountant and was a Business Director up until 2016, since when he has focused on politics.
He has experience as a County Councillor in Durham and has been active on their Economy and Environmental committees. Paul has also spent time as a Cabinet Member on Darlington Borough Council before being elected as an MP.
In Westminster he is on the BEIS select committee and chairs an APPG for Left Behind Communities. He is also focused on improving local rail connections through reintroducing Ferryhill Station and the Leamside line to the network.
