Cllr Jamie Bartch has lived in Darlington all of his life, leaving only briefly whilst he studied his undergraduate at the University of Lincoln, followed by his Masters degree in Politics and International Relations Theory at Durham University in 2019.
Jamie has been Councillor for Whinfield Ward for nearly two years. On this Jamie said: “I am so proud to be working as a councillor in Whinfield. We deal with so many resident enquiries and it's great to see things getting done. One of my proudest achievements is the level of communication we put out in our ward - regular newsletters mean residents are no longer kept in the dark”.
Jamie currently works for the Conservative Party in the Tees Valley, as well as being Director of the volunteer organisation, Conservatives for CANZUK. He also sits on the Board of Governors at Whinfield Primary School.
